Kimverlyn is a designer, new media artist and creative technologist exploring experience design through interface, installations and sound.

With a background in UX design for the past seven years and a Masters of Architecture: Design for Performance and Interaction at Bartlett, she is interested in modes of interface and interactions that permeate both on-screen and off-screen. Her aim is to explore and speculate emerging technologies, spatiality and the relationship with the immaterial (internet, sound and light). Current projects include:

  • Creative technology installation builds, interactive audio visuals for events and performances

  • Ambedo Field: Archiving + translating atmospheric qualities of sonic subculture gigs with mechanical noise machines [Kinetic Installation]

  • Building apps and experiences within emerging tech (Web3, AI)

  • Trendforecasting reports with WGSN: Reports include 1) Virtual, Third Spaces, 2) Layered Realities and 3) Gadget Renaissance

  • Field Guide for Oddkin: Researching speculative modes of digital archives [Archival system and research]
